CHASE SUSPECT FOUND HIDING IN A JACUZZI
A high-speed police chase in Orange County, California on Tuesday morning ended with the arrest of two men, one of whom was found hiding in a Jacuzzi at a home in Anaheim. The driver in the chase was on the westbound 91 Freeway, crashed at State College Boulevard in Anaheim, then ran across the highway and into a residential neighborhood. Officers conducted a search of the area, and found the suspect, identified as Erick Flowers, 29, floating in a covered Jacuzzi at a home. He and the passenger, 36-year-old Andres Rivero of Fullerton, were booked on multiple charges: possession of a sawed-off shotgun, stolen property, drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.
* Time to change the Jacuzzi water again.
* At least he was nice and relaxed for the trip to jail.
* I guess no matter how great a hiding place seems, chances are the cops have seen it before.
* Now they’re claiming all 27 of the items were planted on them by the police.
* Has there ever been a word more needlessly long than “paraphernalia”?
* I recommend shortening that to “druggie stuff.”
