CEMETERY REMOVES TOMBSTONE WITH DECEASED FLIPPING THE BIRD
In Australia, Peter Bridge died in April at age 33 after a life-long battle with cystic fibrosis. Peter’s gravestone included a color picture of him smiling and flipping the bird. His grieving family says it’s what he wanted, and thinks it’s funny. The cemetery, not so much. Enfield Memorial Park in Adelaide pulled the headstone after someone complained. Peter’s father, Arthur Bridge, called the move “another kick in the guts.” He wants the headstone back to the way it was, saying that this was their son’s personal resting space.
* You sure don’t hear anybody else around Peter’s grave complaining.
* Maybe they could move him to the seedy side of the cemetery?
* Carve directions on the headstone of how to see the photo on Instagram?
* It’s not as bad as his first idea – a photo with him mooning the camera.
* I suppose the family is free to take its business elsewhere?
