CANADIAN CRIME: TWO LADIES CLEAN THE WRONG HOUSE

Police in Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia, were called after a concerned neighbor spotted two suspicious women in the house next door with a vacuum cleaner and a mop. Police arrived to find the house had been unintentionally cleaned. The homeowner was away and had left the door unlocked in order for the neighbor to walk the owner’s dog. Instead, two women from a cleaning service showed up at the wrong address and were able to get inside because the door was unlocked. Authorities are reminding Nova Scotians to lock their doors.
* …or face the consequences of coming home to a clean house.
* So did the cleaners empty the vacuum cleaner back onto the carpets and spill stuff back onto the kitchen floor?
* “Unintentionally cleaned” – that’s a phrase I thought only I ever used.
* Meanwhile, somewhere in Nova Scotia, and old man sits in a dirty house, waiting for the doorbell to ring. Sad.
