CAMEL RUSTLERS

The hunt is on for two missing Bactrian camels – which are what? Anyone? Anyone? Two humpers – that were taken from a central Missouri farm along with a pair of steers. The owner of the male two-hump camels told police he believed they were stolen on Monday with two 900-pound Black Angus steers, likely using a trailer. The tan camels are 3 years old and 9 feet tall. Detective Tom O’Sullivan said, “We’re trying to figure out what the market is for camels, where they might be headed and for what purpose.” Camels are not known for being gentle and cooperative animals, which indicates that the thieves must have known what they were doing in leading them away, O’Sullivan said.
* For someone living in Missouri, that guy seems to know an awful lot about camels.
* I would check the local Philippino restaurant first.
* They were stolen on Monday, but they waited to report the crime until Wednesday because, well, you know, Hump Day.
* The camels went missing at exactly the same time as Zayn Malik left One Direction. Coincidence?
* The owner thinks the thieves used a trailer? Well, they didn’t put them in the back seat of a Toyota.
* Maybe they lifted them out of their with a really big hot air balloon.
* Wait, were there any bright lights in the area? We could have an alien abduction going on here.
