BURGLARY SUSPECT HIDES IN CLOTHES DRYER
Sheriff’s deputies in Canton, Ohio, found a burglary suspect hiding in a clothes dryer. Deputies were searching for 31-year-old James Crossen as the suspect in a robbery last Thursday. Later that day, authorities found Crossen’s vehicle at a home in Canton. When they attempted to make contact with him, deputies discovered that Crossen’s wife, Crystal, and three children were in the home. Crossen eventually came to the door but was uncooperative. Crystal and the three children exited the house. Authorities said they were forced to make entry after he refused to surrender. Crossen was taken into custody after officers found him hiding in a clothes dryer in the basement of the home.
* Now they’re going to hang him out to dry.
* Did he think he would just disappear in the dryer, like a missing sock?
* Police described him as “nice and fluffy.”
* That was an unusual wrinkle in the case.
* It was a trap … a lint trap.
* I’m not a detective but once you come to the door and talk with the cops, they sort of know you’re in there.
* Maybe he thought the dryer was a transporter and he could beam to another location.
* I blame this on the new Star Wars trailer.
* Now the wife gets all emotional every time she does the laundry.
* Now here’s Culture Club with “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya.”
