BURGLAR RETURNS TO SCENE OF CRIME TO LOOK HIS FOR KEYS
In Brandon, Manitoba, a burglar was caught when he returned to the scene of the crime to look for his keys. Around 3:50 a.m. on Sunday morning, a homeowner caught and held a man who had earlier broken into his garage, stealing two bicycles, a laptop computer and a mini fridge. The suspect hid some of the stolen items nearby while returning others to his apartment. But once at his building, he realized that he lost his keys and could not get into his apartment complex. So, he used a rock to smash the front glass door of the building, but still didn’t have keys to get into his apartment. So, the suspect then returned to the garage that he broke into in search of his lost keys, where the homeowner apprehended him. Police say the 20-year-old suspect was intoxicated.
* That explains it. Usually you don’t start forgetting where you laid down your keys until you’re in your 50s.
* At some point earlier in the night, I bet this sounded like a good plan.
* It’s not like he wasn’t going to come back. How does he get home in one trip with two bicycles and a refrigerator?
* This is the kind of guy who would steal a mini fridge full of beer and wonder why it was so heavy.
* Anyway, where he’s going, other people will be looking after the keys.
