BURGLAR BREAKS INTO SHED, LEAVES A SET OF ANTLERS

In Timaru, New Zealand, a burglar broke into a homeowner’s shed Tuesday night, but didn’t steal anything. Instead, he left a pair of antlers. Police are still trying to piece together the mysterious burglary where nothing appeared to be taken, but a deer skull with antlers were left. Police are hoping that the deer antlers will be recognizable to someone and will assist in their enquiries so they track where they came from.
* From a deer, duh.
* “Looks like the work of the Hatrack Gang, chief.”
* What are they really trying to accomplish here? Bust the guy for littering?
* Maybe it’s some weird New Zealand mafia thing – “sleeps with the fishes,” “grazes with the antelopes,” same kind of thing.
