BURGER KING RESTAURANT DRESSES UP AS GHOST OF MCDONALD'S FOR HALLOWEEN
On Sunday, a New York Burger King in Queens’ Rego Park neighborhood dressed the entire restaurant up as the ghost of a McDonald’s. The entire Burger King and its sign were covered in white sheets with eye-holes cut out of them like a traditional homemade ghost costume. The sheets had a crudely-drawn McDonald’s logo. The Burger King’s sign read: “Boooooo. Just kidding, we still flame grill our burgers. Happy Halloween.”

* Trick or fries!
* A building-size costume. Now THAT is a whopper.
* First, Killer Clowns, and now this. McDonald’s can’t get a break!
* At least they didn’t have Ronald McDonald hanging from a tree.
* Who’s the marketing genius who came up with this? Because, for once, he or she really is a marketing genius.
* I guess it’s nice … in a mean corporate kind of way.
* Why don’t they try something really hard and dress up as a gourmet restaurant?
* Now that the idea is out there, just wait ’til it gains traction in the years ahead.
* You’ll have things like the Olive Garden dressing up as an authentic Italian place.
* You’ll have establishment Republicans campaigning for the Democratic candidate … oh wait, that’s already here.
