BROTHER-IN-LAW WRECKS SOCCER STAR’S BRAND-NEW FERRARI
British soccer star Lewis Grabban bought a new Ferrari. Grabban wasn’t home on the day the car was being delivered, so he asked his brother-in-law to take receipt of the Ferrari 488 GTB. And then, the brother-in-law decided to take it for a drive, with his friend. Because the brother-in-law had injured his wrist the day before, his friend offered to drive while the brother-in-law sat in the passenger seat. You guessed it – they wrapped the brand-new Ferrari – which wasn’t theirs – around a tree, causing $130,000 worth of damage to the $351,000 car. Both were charged with aggravated vehicle taking and were sentenced by a judge this week to many hours of community service, and they had their drivers licenses suspended for 12 months.
* And I’m sure British soccer star Lewis Grabban was going to kick their asses up and down the field a few times.
* The brother-in-law should have said, “It came off the truck that way. Geeze, what do you suppose they did to it?”
* Gonna be an awkward Thanksgiving this year. Oh wait – England? Never mind.
* PHONE TOPIC: Did you ever break someone else’s expensive toy?
