BRITISH MOVIE THEATERS OFFERING FREE ADMISSION FOR REDHEADS DURING HEATWAVE

A British movie theater chain is offering free tickets to people with red hair for two days during the current heat wave sweeping the country. Showcase Cinemas says redheads can get free tickets to the movies on Monday and Tuesday as part of the chain’s “Sun Protecting Flicks,” or “SPF,” promotion. The gimmick is that redheads, with their fair skin, are often more vulnerable than most to the sun’s rays, and the movies will give them shelter from the sun inside an air conditioned cinema to catch the latest blockbusters for no cost at all.
* People are dying to get in. Their hair – they’re dying their hair red.
* What if the person is bald? Would they have to prove they have red hair by exposing … y’know what? Never mind.
* I knew there’d have to be an upside to global warming eventually.
* A theater full of pale white people. You’d have to wear sunglasses to watch the film because of all the light from the screen reflected off their skin.
