BRITISH MAN COMPLETES GOAL OF PARKING IN EVERY SPACE IN SUPERMARKET PARKING LOT

A British man has made the news for completing his quest of parking in every one of the 211 spaces of the parking lot at his local supermarket in Bromley. It took Gareth Wild six years to reach his goal. He shops at the Sainsbury’s once a week, with maybe an occasional extra trip. He figures he makes around 60 visits a year to the supermarket. He kept a spreadsheet to track his progress and put together a detailed map of the Sainsbury’s lot, showing the best and worst spaces to use. Explaining what possessed him to do something so, uh, boring, Mr. Wild said, “Part of me really enjoys the mundane things in life and trying gamify them.”
* The part of him that enjoys it is probably a brain tumor.
* It’s more interesting than his other job, which is a Member of Parliament.
* The secret to doing something like this is to pace yourself. You don’t want to do anything crazy, like park in two spaces in one day.
* For the next six years, he intends to BACK INTO every parking space in the lot.
* In England, it must be “Anyone Can Get In The Newspaper Day.”
