BRIDE LOSES BET; HUSBAND WEARS EAGLES JERSEY AT WEDDING
Jennifer Sullivan and Patrick Hanks of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, were at a friend’s wedding last October. Drinks were flowing, and a bet was made: if the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl, Patrick could wear an Eagles jersey at their own wedding. If the Eagles lost, he would watch every episode of Jennifer’s favorite show, “The Real Housewives”. Well, the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots at the Super Bowl, and the wedding was last week, on Memorial Day weekend. After exchanging vows and rings, Patrick switched out his tuxedo jacket for the Eagles shirt – and the couple were pronounced husband and wife.
* Why is this noteworthy? Maybe they mean he lost the tuxedo and put on ONLY the Eagles jersey.
* Later, during the wedding night, there was much play action, scramble drills, spread formations, covering the pocket and such.
* If I’d have had to watch even one minute of “Real Housewives”, I would have dumped her at the altar.
* So, kids – never make drunk bets with your significant other.
* PHONE TOPIC: “The weirdest thing I had to do after losing a bet.”
