BRAZEN BOURBON BURGLARS BAMBOOZLE BOYS IN BLUE – June 9
Around $500,000 worth of premium bourbon was stolen from a Philadelphia warehouse in broad daylight. The suspects were able to dupe employees at the American Supply warehouse into thinking they were supposed to load a truck with 1,800 cases of Noble Oak Bourbon. The workers helped load the 10,800 bottles between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, then the thieves drove off.
* I know a couple of guys who had a pretty good weekend.
* One of the robbers said, “Is this whiskey?” And the other one said, “Yeah, but not as whiskey as wobbing a bank.”
* I hope they bust ’em and put ’em on ice.
* Stealing bourbon from a warehouse – what an old-fashioned crime. And it makes me want an Old Fashioned.
