BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING IN SECRET

With Black Friday right around the corner, a new survey finds that nearly one in three Americans say they plan on buying something this Black Friday and not telling their partner about it. The survey, conducted by BJ’s Wholesale Club (* I’ve always wondered where I can find BJ’s Wholesale) found that the top five secret Black Friday purchases are:
1. Clothes
2. Jewelry
3. A new phone
4. Camera
5. Electronic gadget
When it comes to “secret spending” men are the bigger offenders. Men on average will spend $276 secretly every month. Women, on the other hand, only secretly spend $119 each month.
* Men spend $276 secretly every month? I work in radio. I’m lucky if I have an extra $2.76 a month.
* Clothes are a big secret? Do you even notice what your spouse is wearing after the first six weeks of marriage?
* 3. A new phone; 4. Camera; 5. Electronic gadget. If only there was an electronic gadget that could be a phone AND a camera.
* I wonder how many of the “bigger offender” men buy BJ’s Wholesale. I mean, buy FROM BJ’s Wholesale?
