A new survey of 2,000 Americans by the Perdue chicken company finds the top trait people look for in a potential partner is whether they’re a good cook. A talent for cooking edged out other options like “someone I can trust” and “someone who makes me laugh.”
* But it tied with “someone who doesn’t mind how lazy I am.”
* And with “a talent for cleaning” and “a talent for doing laundry.”
* I’d rather have someone who makes me lunch than someone who makes me laugh, too.
