AUSTRALIAN BAR RULES: NO STARING

A bar in Sydney, Australia has a new rule: no staring. At Club 77, you are no longer allowed to stare at somebody you might be interested in meeting, unless you get prior consent of the person you are staring at. Failure to do so could result in the police being called. Club 77 also discourages people from coming if their “sole purpose” was to meet someone to “pick up.” The club said “safety officers” in pink vests would enforce the staring rules.
* Obviously, it’s not a strip bar, right?
* “Club 77 – Bring Sunglasses.”
* “Club 77 – No Cruising, Just Get Drunk.”
* Can you take a picture of the person and stare at the picture?
* Here’s how it’s going to go down: Pink vest guy: “I saw you staring at that woman.” Guy: “So you were staring at me, as I was staring at her? Let me speak to your manager.”
