AUDIO: WOMAN ANNOUNCES GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDACY ON FACEBOOK WHILE DRIVING

Former Colorado state treasurer Cary Kennedy announced her run for governor on Monday. She wanted to do something different, so she made the announcement live on Facebook, while driving home from dropping her kids off from school. During the drive, she talked about schools, and teachers, and safety. The camera shooting the video was held by another person in the passenger seat. While driving through the residential area at what appeared to be a slow speed limit, Kennedy glanced multiple times at the camera and at a set of notes taped to the dashboard while operating the vehicle.
* Good to see those marijuana laws working out there in Colorado.
* A Kennedy behind the wheel of a car. Great image.
* She’s lucky her gubernatorial run didn’t turn into a hit-and-run.
* Is she trying to show she can multi-task?
* So – where does she stand on self-driving cars?
* Her supporters stand behind her. It’s the safest place to be.
* So her first gaffe was literally the moment she became a candidate? That’s not easy to do.
* It took President Trump a good 3 days to do something this stupid in his campaign.
* Let’s give her the credit she deserves: It sounds like she works fast.
* This is the worst use of a vehicle in a campaign since Governor Dukakis rode in the tank.
