AUDIO: WE GET SICK OF OUR RELATIVES AFTER FOUR HOURS

A survey from Motel 6 of 2,000 Americans who are traveling to visit family for the holidays found that people spend an average of three hours and 54 minutes with their family before needing a moment to themselves.
– Almost 30 percent of respondents believe they would enjoy the holiday season more if their family wasn’t all under the same roof.
– 30 percent also say their family would get along better if they all had some space.
* What, exactly, is Motel 6 trying to say here? I’m unclear.
* So if you just want to get away for, oh, an hour for SOME REASON, remember Motel 6.
* Maybe families should do Thanksgiving via Skype or FaceTime, in, like, ten-minute bursts.
* Sure, we could correlate this to marriage, but do we really want to go there?
