AUDIO: VENT YOUR FRUSTRATIONS BY SCREAMING OVER BIG SPEAKERS IN ICELAND
People in Iceland feeling stressed by the lockdown can now let off steam by having their screams played over loudspeakers. Iceland’s tourist board has set up a website allowing people to record themselves venting their frustration. Just go to LooksLikeYouNeedIceland.com and record it (* anyone can do it!). The results will then be played from one of seven speakers set up around the sparsely-populated country. Participants can choose where their scream will be played, with locations including a mountain peak, a cliff overlooking the ocean, and next to a waterfall. Psychotherapist Zoe Aston said: “The events of this year mean most of us have experienced increased feelings of frustrations, fear, loneliness, anger or guilt, and we have all coped in different ways. Using a scream as a way to release pent up emotion allows you to reconnect with yourself, hear your own voice and reclaim the power that is inside you.”
* You can also scare a few caribou, if you’re into that kind of thing.
* I scream, you scream, we all scream for Iceland.
* Do you have to scream? Can you submit the fake orgasm scene from “When Harry Met Sally”? Or Captain Kirk yelling “K-A-H-N!!!!”
* Set one of these up in America, the dirty language would melt the speakers.
