AUDIO: THE SOUNDS OF FORESTS AROUND THE WORLD
We know you like music or you wouldn’t be listening to the radio, but if you ever need to get away from the modern world, there’s a website called Tree.fm where you can hear the sounds of forests recorded from around the world. The site has gathered forest soundscapes contributed by people in various countries, and Tree.fm has put them all in one place to help listeners “escape into nature while in lockdown or unable to travel.”
* I hope the sounds of a California forest isn’t a roaring fire.
* If a tree falls in another country’s forest, does it make a sound in these recordings?
* They also have the sounds of streams, but you have to pay to stream ’em.
* And if you’ve got boys around 7 years old who need a place to chill, may we recommend Farts.fm.
CLIP: Here are some sounds of international forests from Tree.fm: [Wait for it!]
1) Forest at Lau Shui Heung Reservoir in Hong Kong…
2) Kerala Forest in Puthiyatheru, India (with the monkeys howling)…
3) The Andesibe rain forest in Madagascar…
4) And we all recognize the sounds from this forest.
