AUDIO: PORCH PIRATE PURLOINS PUSSYCAT POOP PACKAGE
Laurie Pringle of Hamilton, Ontario, has had a number of packages stolen from her porch in the past three years. (* Someone stole a box o’ Pringle’s?) This year, Pringle decided to leave her thieves a stinky surprise. She boxed up a bunch of used cat litter into a delivery box and left it on her front porch. The box was stolen only 40 minutes later. She captured the thief – a man in a blue hat with a backpack – on her doorbell camera. She posted the video on the neighborhood app, and somebody noted that this same guy stole their package as well.
* Tomorrow’s headline: “Hey, Who Threw Cat Poop At My Front Window?”
* It would have been more punishing if she’d put an actual cat in there. Or, worse yet, a bunch of kittens that the guy would now be stuck with.
* Cat poop is good, but what you really need to put in the box is liquid bear repellent or something that’s gonna stick to the guy.
* Heck, if you’re good at tinkering, you could put out an electrified box.
* I love how she thinks they’re “her thieves” now.
