AUDIO: FLIGHT ATTENDANT PULLS EMERGENCY SLIDE UPON LANDING

A United Airlines flight attendant has been removed from her duties after she pulled the emergency slide on a plane that landed in Houston, Texas, on Monday. The plane, Flight 1246 from Sacramento, Calif., landed just before noon local time and had arrived at the gate when the flight attendant activated the emergency slide. Officials believe the attendant did it intentionally. United says they are reviewing the matter and they have removed the employee from her flying duties.
* We’ve all been on those flights where you can’t get off fast enough.
* Did she do it on a dare?
* One thing you don’t want on your plane: a disgruntled employee.
* Maybe she just had to go wee: “Wheeeeeeee!!!!”
* Now she’s sliding right into unemployment.
* Time for another employee meeting.
* Oh well, it beats opening the door during the flight.
* She won’t be able to fly a kite after this.
* Hey, whatever it takes to move along the de-boarding.
