AUDIO: EXPECTANT FATHER COMPLAINS HOSPITAL IGNORED HIM

A British father-to-be posted a complaint last week on a website called Dadsnet (thedadsnet.com) he wrote:
“Currently having a newborn in hospital waiting for his arrival, just hit me that dads on labor wards seem to be invisible. Sat yesterday for 12 hours, never offered a drink or anything, I felt invisible. It was a disgrace and made me feel quite mad. All the tax and national insurance I pay and not even a courtesy of a teabag now and then, or even just like I had a right to be there supporting my missus and waiting for our miracle. Have any of you had the same treatment?”
Needless to say, the comments overwhelmingly called the man a selfish jerk.
* He should have marched right into the delivery room and told his wife exactly what he thought of the whole process.
* He probably didn’t get much attention at the conception, either.
* He wanted somebody to teabag him now and then? What the heck!!!
* Next week it’s: “All this baby wants to do is eat! Where’s MY dinner?”
* PHONE TOPIC: Hey, the guy pays his taxes. Shouldn’t the hospital offer him a cup of tea?
