AUDIO: CHINESE LOVE TRAIN

China has a love train. The 10-car train, known as the ‘Love-Pursuit Train’, was launched three years ago by the Chengdu Railway Bureau and the Communist Youth League as a way for young people to meet. It runs once a year, and holds about 1,000 people. The journey’s organizers designed various games and dining options to help the participants get to know each other, hoping to find their soul mate among like-minded fellow travelers. More than 3,000 young people have ridden the train on its three trips and 10 couples have gotten married.
* Many more have gotten chlamydia.
* The train is pulling into the tunnel for those folks.
* Once a year? Who can keep up with such a hectic love life?
* What happens when two people with the last name of Chu meet on the train?
* This idea works much better than the previous one, which was ‘Love-Pursuit Ox-Cart’.
