AUDIO: CALIFORNIA EARTHQUAKES
Southern California, reeling from two of the biggest earthquakes in two decades, could be hit by a staggering 30,000 aftershock quakes by the end of the year. The 6.4-magnitude quake on Thursday was followed by the even bigger 7.1-magnitude one on Friday. Seismologists are warning that there is a 3% chance of another quake of magnitude 7 over the next week — with at least one more of about magnitude 6 being expected. They also warned that there could be as many as 30,000 of magnitude 1 or greater over the next six months.

* Californians were encouraged to not cheer and stomp their feet too loud for the American Womens Soccer Team winning the World Cup, so as not to set off another quake.
* Is it too much to ask all the liquor shops to store all of their bottle on the bottom shelf?
