AUDIO: 20 MILLION MOSQUITOS TO BE RELEASE IN FRESNO

A giant technology company is releasing up to 20 million bacteria-filled mosquitoes this summer in Fresno, California. The bug campaign, which started Friday, is part of a plan to release male mosquitoes infected with a bacteria that, while harmless to humans, creates nonhatching dead eggs when they mate with wild females – hopefully cutting the mosquito population and the transmission of the diseases they carry, like zika, dengue, and chikungunya. As a bonus, it should be noted that male mosquitoes don’t bite.
* No way this can go wrong.
* So the teeny-tiny mosquito condoms didn’t work?
* One time at a Chinese restaurant I got stir-fried chikungunya.
* 19 million nine-hundred-ninety-nine-thousand nine-hundred-ninety-eight… 19 million nine-hundred-ninety-nine-thousand nine-hundred-ninety-nine… Done – exactly twenty million!
* Mosquitoes. The sluts of the insect world.
