ATTACK WITH A SELFIE STICK
In Boynton Beach, Florida, an “irate” woman stormed into a car rental business, yelling and swinging a selfie stick during an argument with an employee. It happened Tuesday when Titonia Palamino, 23, called an Enterprise Rent-A-Car to argue about the payment for a car rental. The employee told police Palamino was “irate” and on her way to the business. Minutes later, a black Volkswagen arrived in the parking lot. Palamino walked into the store with her hands full. In her left hand, she was carrying a 2-year-old; in her right hand, she had the selfie stick. She then began swinging the stick at the employee, who took “evasive action and waited for police arrival,” police said. Customers and employees told police Palamino was yelling and waving the selfie stick when she walked into the business. Palamino said she was upset because the employee hung up on her, and was swinging the stick in self-defense because she thought the employee was going to throw something at her. Customers said that wasn’t the case, and told police they were concerned for the child, who was crying during the attack. Palamino faces aggravated assault and child neglect charges. She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and held on $5,000 bond.
* If she wasn’t neglecting the kid before, she is now – she’s in jail.
* It sounds like this ended in a draw. Can’t she just go home?
* So anyway – did she take any good selfies?
* That’s humanity for you: Give us anything and we’ll turn it into a weapon.
* That means the Kardashians are armed and dangerous.
* Nice try saying it was self defense because you thought the employee was going to throw something at you. Sorry, but you’ll have to do better than that.
* Ironically, that’s the George Bush Doctrine of Preemptive Strikes: We attacked them because we thought they were planning to build a weapon and attack us.
* Swinging a selfie stick? I’m sorry but that sounds sexual.
