AMERICA’S FAVORITE RESTAURANT: THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY

An online survey conducted by Nation’s Restaurant News collected 4,805 responses from diners about their experiences with more than 173 restaurant brands nationwide. According to the poll, America’s favorite casual dining restaurant is The Cheesecake Factory. Here are the Top Ten Casual Dining Restaurants:

9. Mellow Mushroom
8. Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub
7. Olive Garden
6. Carrabba’s Italian Grill
5. Romano’s Macaroni Grill
4. Red Lobster

* Arby’s – screwed again.
* It can’t be a surprise that Americans love a restaurant with Cheesecake in its actual name.
* And #2 – The Melting Pot, which is all about melted cheese.
* Just another lost battle in the War on Obesity.
* It’s nice we have Italian coming in at #5, #6 and #7, for when you’re too lazy to boil noodles.
* This gives me a brainstorm for a new restaurant chain: Anything with the word Bacon in the name.
* How about the Bacon and Cheese Garden?
* I even have the slogan: “We ain’t fakin’, whole lotta bacon going on.”
* Another way to tell we’re losing the War on Obesity: We have 173 restaurant brands nationwide.
