AMERICANS THINK ABOUT FOOD A LOT

A survey of 2,000 Americans found that Americans think about food an average of four times a day and spend 40 minutes per day purely thinking about food. That adds up to more than 240 hours per year, or the equivalent of over 10 solid 24-hour days. The study, from Blue Diamond Almonds, also finds that the most common urges for something flavorful are:
1. Sweet
2. Salty
3. Spicy
4. Savory
5. Smoky

* 240 hours per year? I don’t know about you, but I can think about food 240 hours a DAY.
* If only there was some food around that we could eat to make it stop.
