AMERICANS FEEL $19,800 IS A LIFE-CHANGING AMOUNT OF MONEY

A study from credit company Self Lender found that the average American feels that $19,800 is the amount of money that would cause a major change in their life. Where would the money go?
– 51 percent of Americans said they’d put the money right into savings.
– Other answers included paying off credit debt, using it to start a business, and putting the money in a retirement account.
The survey also found that:
– 51% of millennials live paycheck to paycheck.
– About one in five millennials (22 percent) view $5,000 or less as the amount of money that would make a large impact and change in their life.
* That’s it, millennials – aim high.
* Start a business with $19,800? Like … a lemonade stand?
* You can’t tell me that a HUGE percentage of people wouldn’t gamble most of it away before the weekend’s over. And the rest, they’d just waste.
* Given $19,800 tomorrow, 95 percent of Americans said they would use it to buy Girl Scout cookies.
