ALLIGATOR TRIES TO EAT HORSE

Authorities in Odessa, Florida, say a six-foot alligator attacked and injured a horse. Deputies found the gator in a pasture and its victim: a horse with bite marks on one of its legs. Deputies contained the alligator and notified the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, which sent a licensed trapper to the location. Authorities said the horse owner will seek private medical help for the animal.
* Talk about biting off more than you can chew.
* “I’m so hungry I could eat a horse.” “No you couldn’t.”
* You could try explaining to the gator that the horse won’t fit inside it, but they hate it when you lecture them.
* I can’t knock it. I did the same thing at an all-you-can-eat buffet one time.
* The horse has to be thinking, “Hello, a gator? This is a pasture – not a swamp.”
* Maybe that “Swamp People” show could add a cowboy version.
* You can’t blame the horse. It was distracted by the Burmese python coming the other way.
