AIRLINE OPENS RESTAURANT THAT SERVES AIRLINE FOOD
AirAsia, an Indonesian airline, has opened a restaurant at a mall in Kuala Lumpur that serves its in-flight meals. Called the Santan Restaurant, the menu offers things that they offer on their planes: “nasi lemak” — a dish of coconut-flavored rice, egg, anchovies, peanuts, and spicy chili sauce; as well as other favorites such as chicken rice or chicken pho. The airline plans to expand to five more locations by the end of 2020.
* You lost me at “anchovies”.
* After you get your food, you have to wait a half hour for them to come by with the drink cart.
* Wasn’t Nasi Lemak one of the rebel generals in “The Last Jedi”?
* Fasten your seatbelts, your stomach is about to experience some turbulence.
