ADVICE FROM GRANDPARENTS
A company called Home Health Care Shoppe conducted a survey and somehow came up with 10 Pieces of Advice From America’s Grandparents:
1. Don’t grow up too fast
2. Don’t take your family for granted
3. Don’t be afraid to fail or lose at anything you chose to do in life
4. If you are not 10 minutes early you’re late
5. Always feel your emotions and don’t bottle them up inside
6. Write everything down
7. You can learn a lot by keeping quiet and watching
8. You never get a second chance at a first impression
9. Live by your words and stand by them
10. If something doesn’t feel right with you, then it’s not right at all
* 70 or 80 years and there’s only 10? Lazy!
* Nothing about investing or how to buy real estate? LAZY!!!
* 11. “Get off my lawn!”
* 12. “I brake for yard sales.”
* Truer words have never been lifted from somebody else’s internet list.
* “Don’t grow up too fast.” Thanks Gramps. Now we’ve got a generation of video game-playin’, comic book-lovin’ snowflakes afraid of their own shadows thanks to your advice.
* I thought America’s grandparents were Betty White and Clint Eastwood.
* The only advice I ever got from Grandma was, “Untuck the sheet at the bottom of your bed so you don’t get hammer toes.”
