AUDIO: WOMAN CATCHES DEALER MECHANIC TAKING JOYRIDE IN HER CAMARO

A California couple took their limited edition Chevy Camaro to Montebello Chevrolet in Los Angeles for service. It wasn’t too much later when they spotted their car out on a joyride for fast food. The couple was on their way to lunch around 9:30 when they saw the car – an Indy 500 Chevy Camaro pace car, only 200 made – speeding past. They followed it to the drive-thru of a burger restaurant. The woman grabbed her phone and started recording as they approached the driver (see clip below). After some accusations, and claiming he was taking a test drive, he attempted to back up out of the drive-thru and scratched the rims on the concrete. Then he took off – without his food. The couple immediately drove back to the dealer, and while they were getting a song-and-dance from the manager, the guy who took the car came back “smirking and giggling as if it were a joke.”
* Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Yep – 9:30 is a little early for lunch.
* Guess who’s getting a new set of rims and free oil changes for the rest of her life?
* What’s with the backing up out of the drive-thru? Was that supposed to make it like it never happened?
* This could damage the fine reputation of dealership service departments everywhere – if they had one.
* How good was the manager’s song-and-dance compared to, say, “America’s Got Talent”?
* Ironically, guess who’s now working at the burger restaurant?
