DRUG DOG FINDS METH IN BOX OF TWINKIES

Police in Oklahoma City said a drug-sniffing dog found five bags of methamphetamine hidden inside a box of Twinkies. Officers pulled over a vehicle with out-of-state plates last Sunday when it was seen weaving in and out of traffic on Interstate 40 while the driver appeared to be texting. The driver and passenger were acting suspiciously, so a drug-sniffing dog was brought in to search the vehicle. The dog indicated a suspicious odor coming from the box of Twinkies and officers determined the side of the box had been re-sealed. The officer opened the box and removed its contents – two snack cakes and five bags of methamphetamine. The driver, Rodney Walker, 50, and his passenger, Bernard Reyes, 39, were arrested on drug trafficking charges.
* Meth in a box of Twinkies. What’s the difference?
* “Put the meth with the Twinkies. Cops would never look there!”
* What a pair of Ding-Dongs.
* When the cops found the meth, they burst out laughing with “Ho-Ho’s”.
* Talk about dangerous … not the meth – this snack food.
* The weird part? Normally Twinkies are found with pot smokers.
* I don’t know how these dogs work, but hiding something in food seems like it would just draw the dog’s interest.
* And I’m using the term “food” loosely here.
* The driver is still texting but now he’s texting his lawyer.
