TWO KILLED BY LIGHTNING IN CEMETERY

Authorities in Batavia, New York, say a man and woman found dead in a cemetery apparently were hit by lightning during severe thunderstorms. Batavia Cemetery caretakers discovered the bodies of 34-year-old Richard Garlock and 32-year-old Jenea Macleod on Wednesday afternoon. Severe storms had rolled across the region early Wednesday morning. A medical examiner determined Garlock and Macleod had sustained injuries consistent with being struck by lightning.
* Well that was … er, convenient.
* When they first met, sparks flew. And then again Wednesday morning.
* The cemetery caretakers were shocked – but not as much as these two.
* People go to cemeteries to be with the dead – you’re not supposed to join them.
* God definitely has a sense of humor. A sick sense of humor, though.
