FACEBOOK STUDY: CAT OWNERS TEND TO BE SINGLE

Using object recognition technology, Facebook looked at 160,000 U.S. pet owners who posted a photo of their cat, dog or even both animals. Facebook discovered – big shock – that cat owners are more likely to be single and have fewer friends than dog owners. Facebook found that cat owners are more fond of indoor activities, such as reading, watching television and movies.
* And sleeping. Lots and lots of sleeping.
* Fewer friends? So are they standoffish or just more discriminating? Like cats!
* Uh … Maybe the stinky litter box is the reason no one wants to come over and hang out with you.
* The number of friends probably decreases as the number of cats increases, ’til you get to the Crazy Cat Lady who lives alone with 30 cats.
* Folks, the takeaway here is – switch to a picture of you WITHOUT your cat, like, YESTERDAY.
