COOKIE DOUGH BEER

Ben & Jerry’s is teaming up with New Belgium Brewing to produce a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ale. Not ice cream, but beer. The company previous produced Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale, in 2015. Ben & Jerry’s will use their new product to benefit a cause they care about: $50,000 of the proceeds from their Cookie Dough Ale will go to Protect Our Winters, which advocates for climate change action. Said Jay Curley, Senior Global Marketing Manager of Ben & Jerry’s: “This new beer is delicious and unique and the issue of climate change is still increasingly urgent.”
* Thanks, Captain Buzzkill.
* Can’t we just have a beer without having to feel guilty about the environment?
* “This new beer is delicious and unique”? Well, I’ll give you the unique part.
* Hmm, cookie dough combined with beer. It’s hard to argue with the logic.
* The only real question is why nobody thought of cookie dough beer before?
* It does show that they’re beginning to run out of beer ideas.
* The best part: Beer with chocolate chips. Mmmm.
* Now you don’t have to go through the bother of making those ice cream and beer floats.
* Cookie dough beer? And you thought your beer gut was bad before.
* The thing about new ideas from beer company people, is you have to give them a break. They were probably drunk when they thought of it.
* Coming next: Peanut Butter Schnapps.
