HOUSE FIRE ON APPROPRIATELY NAMED HIGH STREET

There was a house fire in Walworth, New York early Tuesday morning. Firefighters were called shortly after 5 a.m. to a house on High Street. That’s where they discovered a roomful of marijuana had gone up in smoke. Once the fire was out, investigators found 40 to 50 potted marijuana plants under grow lights in the room. The fire is believed to have been sparked by an electrical malfunction. Firefighters contained the blaze to that room and the roof. None of the four residents were hurt.
* Dude, that’s a serious bummer.
* Instead of getting high, they’re getting arrested.
* Never wire up a marijuana grow room while you’re stoned.
* And for Pete’s sake, include a smoke alarm.
* How would you like to be a bird flying over this?
* Normally when you spark one off it means to get high.
* Maybe that’s what happened. Someone said, “Hey, there’s a spark causing a fire” and everyone else thought they were talking about firing up a joint and sparking one off.
* Authorities just said it was high time they did something about High Street.
