AUDIO: FOR SALE – HOUSE-TRAINED BUFFALO
Karen Schoeve, of Argyle, Texas, has put an ad on Craigslist to sell her pet – a 1,000-pound housebroken bison named Bullet. Schoeve says 8-year-old Bullet loves being indoors. “When she is hot and sweaty, she’ll come in and lay on the couch,” Schoeve said. “She watches the fish tank for a while. She doesn’t mess up a thing, and walks around very neatly like she belongs in the house.” And, says her owner, she has never gone to the bathroom in the house. Schoeve is sad to see her sweet Bullet go, but wants her to have more room to roam. “I just think she deserves better – better space, bigger grassland,” Schoeve said while fighting back tears about the decision. “I just think it’s best for her.”
* Yeah, the bison has some trouble getting up the four flights of stairs to the apartment.

* Also for sale: one couch, slightly used.
* I’ve had some bad roommates in my day, but this is ridiculous.
* Actually, I’ve had roommates that I would have traded for a buffalo anytime.
* Smart to get rid of the buffalo now, before summer hits and you get that indoor buffalo funk.
* Of course the buffalo has never gone to the bathroom in the house. Because when that happens you’re going to have to move.
