STUDENT CANDIDATES USED BRIBES

Two of the winning presidential candidates in the University of Colorado’s student government elections will not be allowed to take office after allegations that they used bribes of cookies and pizza to buy votes. The two students were disqualified for violating campaign rules. A student government appellate court found the two candidates promised cookies and pizzas to students who pledged to vote for them.
* I know two students who have a bright future in the Washington, D.C. lobbying industry.
* I understand this scandal goes all the way up to Papa John.
* Thank goodness our presidential election isn’t tainted by this kind of bribery.
* Otherwise we might have delegates changing their minds based on some crazy deal.
* Wait, an election in Colorado where they actually vote? I say that’s progress.
