AUDIO: FURIOUS MOM YELLS AT AMERICAN AIRLINES
A furious mother was caught on camera berating American Airlines staff after her flight from New York’s LaGuardia Airport to Miami had been delayed for 12 hours. The incident happened last month during the extreme weather in New York, but passengers were first told the delay was due to mechanical issues. According to the person who posted the video, the flight was delayed for 12 hours and finally canceled. Passengers had been waiting since 7pm on March 24th. The outburst happened at 2am March 25th. The gate agent called the police on the passengers after 2am. American Airlines gave no hotel voucher just a $12 food voucher at 2am. The mother was enraged and told staff: “You lied to me. You lied to me. I’m sitting here since 8 o’clock with a nine-year-old who’s waiting for her vacation and my 13-year-old and me. If there’s no flight just say: ‘There’s no flight!’ Don’t give me this [stuff] anymore,” she screamed. “And you’re all going to pay for my Disney cruise and you’re going to pay for everything else here.” According to Disney, the mom did eventually make it on her Disney cruise.

* I have trouble believing this would come out of the mouth of any of the nice people who live in New York.
* “You S.O.B.s are gonna pay for my trip to the happiest place on Earth!!!”
* You just know there wasn’t a single person on that cruise who didn’t hear this woman’s story.
* 12 hour wait – $12 food voucher – one dollar per hour of delay, then no flight – I give her a “pass” on the rant.
* What can you get for $12 in an airport restaurant? A piece of toast?
* Mechanical issues – as in, planes mechanically can’t take off and land in extreme blizzards.
* When are airlines going to learn: people can, in fact, handle the truth.
* Sometimes I think they’d tell us if they had a clue.
* Hey, count your blessings. At least you weren’t stuck in the plane.
* Those are the ones that really get ugly. When you’re sitting on the tarmac for a day.
