PARENTS BATTLE AT KINDERGARTEN PLAY

A kindergarten play at an elementary school was cancelled after parents fought over seating arrangements. Kindergarten students from Ridgemoor Elementary in Riverside, California, were set to put on a performance. More than 300 people were in attendance. However several parents got into a fight over seating and viewing. According to officials, some people walked to the front row and began filming, blocking those who were sitting up front. The play was called off and authorities were called to the school. No arrests were made in the incident.
* A loss for the arts community, I guess.
* There was certainly more drama in the audience than there was on the stage.
* What was the play? “12 Angry Men”?
* They almost performed the play? That’s what’s known as a close call.
* Hey, let’s keep the fighting parents where they belong – at Little League games.
* The play didn’t happen, so ultimately everybody won.
* It was a new age school, so all the fighting parents received a participation trophy.
* It’s the first time an entire school audience got sent to the principal’s office.
