CHIROPRACTOR SHOCKS BAD APPLE EMPLOYEE
A Connecticut chiropractor has been charged with assault for allegedly electrically shocking a female employee who had spoken negatively about other workers in the office. William DeAngelo, head of the Neuro-Spinal Center in Stratford, was charged Thursday with third-degree assault. The woman told police she was ordered to lie face down on a table while DeAngelo delivered high-intensity electric shocks to her back with his chiropractor-shocking-machine until she cried to “teach her something” for bad-mouthing others. DeAngelo told police he had received several complaints about the woman from patients.
* I’m shocked.
* The chiropractor zapped her with electricity, and she got all bent out of shape about it.
* After he shocked her, he told her she would need to be shocked three times a week for six weeks, and then we’ll determine where to go from there.
* Uh oh. Time for another sensitivity seminar at the office.
* Yes, he wanted to “teach her something” and now her lawyer is going to teach him something.
* This guy’s got a little Dr. Mengele in him, doesn’t he?
* On the bright side, her lumbar pain is gone.
* It could have been worse. He could have been a proctologist.
* There is some good news for Mr. DeAngelo. He’s been recruited to the CIA’s enhanced interrogation program.
