TEEN WRECKS GIRLFRIEND'S FATHER'S CAR, SEVEN OTHERS

A 17-year-old boy was arrested early Thursday morning after allegedly taking a car belonging to his girlfriend’s father and slamming into seven other vehicles. It happened at an apartment complex in Glendale, California. A witness said the boy was speeding up and down the stretch of the parking lot, spinning tires, and crashing into other cars. Another resident said she she heard a man arguing with a woman – possibly his girlfriend – before the crashes started. Police haven’t commented on what provoked the incident. The teenager in custody faces charges of reckless driving and criminal damage. Investigators say alcohol and drugs were not involved.
* But I bet hormones were. Test him – you’ll find plenty.
* So this was the opposite of a joyride.
* I think we should change that one part of the story to “EX-girlfriend”.
* He faces charges of reckless driving and criminal damage. Oh, and his car insurance will be going up by 700%.
* Let’s not jump to conclusions. Maybe he’s just a really lousy driver.
* This is nothing. You should see him try to parallel park.
* I say arrest the kid, then arrest his driving instructor.
* Let’s go over the concept of a Learner’s Permit again.
* He’ll be out driving around in a year if his parents are poor or by next week if they’re rich.
