FLORIDA DRUG CASES
#1- At the Palm Beach, Florida, County Jail on Tuesday, a corrections deputy was searching Amanda Alvarez as they booked her on drug charges when they noticed something out of place: A baggie of heroin underneath her left breast. Alverez reportedly told the deputy she didn’t know how the baggie of heroin ended up under her breast.
* Maybe it was hiding from the spoon and the lighter?
* Palm Beach, Florida? I bet that’s a nicer jail than most.
* That’s the only jail in America with a concierge.
* I wonder if the jail gave her the Rush Limbaugh suite?
#2 – Back on January 10th, an Indian River County Sheriff’s deputy spotted a man bicycling without a headlight. The bicycle rider, later identified as Robert Lee Thomas Jr., 46, got off and started walking. The deputy stopped Thomas, and he started to walk as if he were going to flee. Thomas was ordered to sit. He threw something, and a deputy found a loaded pistol magazine about 10 feet away. After a search, in Thomas’s right shorts pocket, investigators found three crack cocaine rocks. Thomas said the shorts he was wearing weren’t his.
* I wonder if he was this stupid before he started doing crack? I guess we’ll never know.
* Bicycling without a headlight? Wow, and yet Wall Street bankers go free.
* He’s delivering drugs by bicycle? Gee, how about putting some of the profits back into the business?
* He said the shorts weren’t his? Sure, maybe the same guy who stole the bike’s headlight switched shorts on him.
