LAWSUIT CLAIMS EOS LIP BALM CAUSES BLISTERS, SORES

Do you use EOS lip balm? It comes in a round dispenser and is advertised as organic and gluten-free. There’s now a class action lawsuit against the company, with claims that the product causes lips to crack, flake, and bleed. Some users have developed blisters and rashes from, they claim, the EOS balm. The EOS company claims the lawsuit is without merit and adds: “The health and well-being of our customers is our top priority and millions of satisfied customers use our products every day, many of whom take the time to share their experiences with us.”
* Oh, their sharing their experiences with you all right. They’re also sharing their experiences with their lawyers.
* They also told the unhappy customers: “Don’t give us any of your lip.”
* EOS balm – Everybody Oughtta Sue.
* Blisters and rashes? Maybe two of the ingredients are herpes and shingles.
* I don’t know why but I love these stories where some product turns out to be a scam.
* The only thing missing here is some windbag celebrity vouching for how good the stuff is.
* I just checked. This was endorsed by Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears – so they probably didn’t even notice the extra blisters and rashes on their lips.
* Let’s be fair: Once you get past the blisters and rashes, the product works pretty well.
