COFFEE CANS WASH UP ON BEACH

Hundreds of sealed coffee cans and vacuum-packed coffee bricks have washed ashore along Florida’s Space Coast and officials believe they may be from containers that fell off a barge last weekend. Yellow-and-red cans of Cafe Bustelo dotted the beach Tuesday in Indialantic, where delighted beach combers were scooping them up and stuffing them into bags. Many of the coffee cans were still sealed and usable. The coffee may have come from a barge ship that lost containers between Cape Canaveral and Palm Beach last weekend.
* This is a real wake-up call.
* Gonna be a little quiet at the local Starbucks for the next few weeks.
* Wow, a shipment washes up in Florida and it isn’t cocaine? You don’t see that every day.
* You just naturally expect drugs down there especially with a name like Cafe Bustelo.
* Well, I know what I’d be giving my family for Christmas if I lived down there.
* I’d also be on the lookout for some very caffeinated sharks.
* Weren’t the Vacuum-Packed Coffee Bricks a polka band out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania?
