STABBING VICTIM WILL HANDLE PROBLEM HIS DAMN SELF
A 24-year-old stabbing victim who walked into Christ Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Friday night told cops he would handle the situation his “damn self,” according to a police report. He was uncooperative when officers tried to interview him, saying “I was stabbed. I can handle it my damn self. I just came out of county (jail). I ain’t no snitch.”
* The cop replied: “Well excuse the hell out of me!”
* And the guy came back with: “Now, beat it, flatfoot!”
* This makes me want to watch one of those James Cagney gangster movies.
* Excuse me, young man, but the correct phrase is “my own damn self.”
* I know you’re upset but that shouldn’t mean you leave out words.
* Frankly, I think you left out a “damn” in “I ain’t no snitch.”
* Doesn’t it sound better to say, “I ain’t no damn snitch”?
* Oh well. It’s no big deal, but could you work on your criminal lexicon a little before the next time you get stabbed? Thanks.
