DRUNK DRIVER CALLS IN FAKE 911 TO DISTRACT POLICE

A Wayne, New Jersey woman called 911 to send a police car away from her location so she could drive home intoxicated. Hayley Oates reported to 911 dispatchers that a woman was being assaulted at a bar. Oats said the assailant was ‘in a blue truck’ and quickly ended the call. Police investigated the report, but found no evidence of assault or witnesses. Later security cameras confirmed that no assault had occurred. Later, Oates posted to social media: “LMAO.. 2 mins later the cop peals out.. silly piggies tricks r for u.” Police claim that Oates intentionally called 911 so she and her companion could drive home intoxicated undetected. However, detectives were tipped off that the call was a false report and later found the social media post that lead them to Oates. She was charged with filing false reports to law enforcement and creating a false public alarm, police said.
* And she would have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn’t for her meddling need to brag about it.
* This has been another case of social media justice.
* That was either pretty good detective work or they really ARE monitoring everything we do on our electronics.
* She actually wrote LMAO? Laughed my ass off? That’s not going to play well in court.
* And that’s before she refers to the cops as “silly piggies.”
* If tweets had 150 more characters to them she would get the death penalty.
* How would you like to be some poor schmuck driving along in a blue truck when this call came in?
